Saher in Urdu means dawn, that quiet moment when pale light and deep darkness exist together before one gives way to the other. This necklace lives in that moment. A continuous rivière of alternating marquise units, luminous moonstone cabochons and deep emerald glass stones, moves across the neckline in an unbroken rhythm, each pair a small conversation between light and green. Pavé zirconia borders each unit with fine precision, and the necklace is strung on a braided gilded dori with a ruby meenakari bead closure, the last detail of a piece that has thought of everything. The Saher Jhumki carries dawn to the ear in its most classical form. A three-petal lotus stud of one moonstone and two emerald marquise petals opens the composition, pale and deep side by side as always. Below it, a gilded cage jhumka of marquise moonstone panels sits like a lantern lit at first light, its structure open and architectural. From the base, a fringe of seed pearls hangs freely, swaying with every movement, the soft sound of a morning that has just begun.
